Hi, I’m Richard Harris—but please, call me Rick.

I believe the best portraits aren't just about perfect lighting or composition (though as a Certified Professional Photographer, I obsess over those, too!). The best portraits are about connection. They are about capturing that split-second of genuine laughter between siblings or the quiet confidence of a high school senior.

Why I Photograph Photography has been my lifelong passion. While I spent much of my career as a technology executive, my camera has always been my way of seeing the world. My work has ranged from commercial projects to landscape book covers (you might have seen my work on A Season on the Allegheny), but my heart always comes back to people.

What to Expect I know being in front of a camera can feel awkward. My goal is to make our session relaxed, fun, and stress-free. I bring the technical precision of an engineer and the eye of an artist to every shoot, ensuring you walk away with images that feel like you.
